Al Jafiliya is one of the quieter older residential pockets sitting between Al Karama and Bur Dubai — a compact grid of low-rise apartment blocks and mixed-use buildings that's been housing families since the late eighties and early nineties. It doesn't have the tower skyline or the master-planned layout of the newer communities, and that's exactly what shapes the plumbing work we do here. Most of the buildings were constructed before Dubai's modern plumbing codes came into full effect, which means the original pipework runs on galvanized steel supply lines that corrode from the inside over decades of daily use. By now, a good portion of those lines have been carrying water for twenty-five to thirty-five years — well past the functional lifespan that manufacturers rate for galvanized systems.

The calls we get from Al Jafiliya fall into a fairly predictable pattern.
